Meet Christelle, Josee and Archie

Where it all began

For as long as I can remember, I’ve loved two things above all: discovering new places and writing. Combining my love for exploring new cultures with storytelling, The Intrepid Explorers was born—a series to inspire kids to discover the world.

The idea truly came to life during a special time in my life. While expecting my second child, I started imagining stories that could help kids discover the world's wonders. My firstborn, Archie, and his daycare friends became the perfect inspiration for the characters—curious, adventurous, and full of energy!

This journey has been a true family affair. My mother, who came from France to spend a year with us in Australia, has been my co-writer, helping me bring these stories to life while also supporting me with the kids. Together, we’ve poured our love for storytelling into creating a series that sparks curiosity and encourages children to explore the world, one story at a time.

But that’s not all; to support parents in teaching their children about the world, we’ve created the Little Explorers’ Journal website. This way, we can provide additional resources to keep making learning history and geography fun in between book releases.

Meet The Intrepid Explorers

Three out of the five characters of the series are inspired by real children: my son Archie and Ruby and Violet, his two besties from daycare. When they get together, there’s no stopping them as they race around, cause chaos, and come up with ideas that are as wild as they are. And that's exactly why they've inspired my adventure-packed series ;)
