Jaguar Talk: Working in the Wild with Jaguars

What is it really like to work with one of the largest apex predators on Earth?

Join the team from the Northern Jaguar Reserve in Mexico for a journey into the wild world of jaguars. Discover what it’s like to work in a remote reserve where jaguars roam freely, and learn how field biologists and conservationists study and protect these incredible animals.

How do you track a jaguar? How can you tell one jaguar from another? What do they eat? How do mothers raise their cubs? And what does a typical day in the field look like?

We’ll also explore the challenges jaguars face and the work being done to protect them, as well as the different careers that allow people to work with wildlife, from field biologists and researchers to conservationists.

Then it’s time for 30 minutes of live Q&A! Your kids can ask anything they’ve ever wanted to know about…
